Slight chance of isolated thunderstorm over the Sierra Crest south
of Highway 50 this afternoon. Dry and seasonable weather
elsewhere. After today, a warming and drying trend begins that
will continue into early next week with Minor HeatRisk and
periodically breezy winds.

-5-15% chance of brief, isolated thunderstorms along the Sierra
Crest south of US Highway 50 this afternoon
-Seasonable temperatures with periodically breezy winds
* Friday - Wednesday:
-Above-normal temperatures return Friday and through the middle of
next week with Minor HeatRisk across the Valley, Delta, and
foothills
-Expect breezy northerly winds on Friday with a 45-75% probability
of wind gusts > 30 mph in the western Sacramento Valley
-Diurnally driven winds resume with increased Delta breeze flow in
the afternoons and evenings this weekend and into next week

Mainly VFR conditions across interior NorCal, with areas of MVFR
conditions due to a low stratus deck currently moving north to
south in the central Sacramento Valley. Conditions are expected to
improve to mostly VFR around 00z for all TAF sites. Northerly
winds continue to gust in the northern Sacramento Valley up to 25
knots, elsewhere general light diurnal winds below 12 knots.
Around a 10% of a t-storm developing through 04z south of HWY-50
in the mountains.
